Fixed wireless broadband can be deployed virtually anywhere it is needed with reliance on solar-powered flexibility solutions where traditional power sources are lacking or non-existent and normal voice telephone or leased lines cannot be utilized. Solar powered battery back-up provides the necessary power to energize the typical wireless system.
Using the 5 - 5.8 GHz license free bands common in the United States and permitted in the UK, easy connectivity is achieved at a fraction of the cost of some expensive land lines connectivity. For Homeland security projects, ports, power plants and other facilities, wireless real-time video surveillance and security is the easy answer to quick deployment of systems with proven reliability. Such technology supports point to point and point to multipoint wireless links, permitting deployment of a network of cameras, sensors and wireless bridges permitting central control over the entire network and remote camera units working off of elevated line of sight transmitting positions.
